Follow-Up On Upcoming "Suggestion Forms" - We're Just About Done

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 - 08:04 AM

Blog entry's title says all, everyone; I'm just writing this quick follow-up post to let you all know that progress on the upcoming "suggestion forms" for this site has been coming along well and they are in the "final phases" before they officially go live. I spent all of last night (and very early this morning) getting the layout done for them on the frontend as well as the "coding" for the backend; however, I've run into a roadblock that's prompted me to contact the folks at Formspree to assist me in getting to the bottom of the matter that I'm experiencing. I did file a support ticket as of this morning and am now waiting for them to get back with me within a couple of hours to help me determine the next steps.

In the meantime, the details on the upcoming "Suggestion Forms" are still undisclosed; however, I can say that when the forms do officially go live (we're aiming for during the course of next week, but definitely before this month of August gets into the history books), there will be a total of two forms waiting for all of you faithful followers/listeners/visitors of these beloved music operations.

As always, I'll keep you posted on any new developements regarding this case on all angles. Keep it bookmarked here on the front page, and stay tuned, everyone. I'm out.

Site Forms Backend Maintenance In Progress / Follow Up Details On Upcoming Site Forms

Posted by Merit Celaire on Sunday, August 9, 2020 - 01:11 PM

Just a quick heads-up/follow up for all of you during this weekend to give word that at this time, I've been dealing with site form maintenance work on the backend for this site which includes this one covering the main website operations itself as well as this one for the Forum Portal area of the site (which I am still determined to make sure it makes a "glorious return" by the end of this year, hopefully). I am aware that especially for the second form, at least one link is broken because it was pointing toward a certain board for the old forum software that we used. But that link itself will be changed when the new boards themselves for the Forum Portal section of this website goes live; as always, I'll keep you all posted and give you all a heads up when that happens.

Second, about the new forms in question being planned for this site in the coming weeks: they are currently in the "planning stages" at this time; as mentioned in previous posts before this one, the "details" regarding them are still under lock and key. However, they will still be a key factor in ensuring that I keep in connection with you faithful followers/listeners regarding all the featured Super Nintendo music style arrangement stuff that I have done for these operations so far, especially in regards to helping me plan on new targets going forward as new Mario videogame installments (both main and branched) get announced from Nintendo themselves in the months to come.

Your patience is greatly appreciated as I try my best to get all of this done during the course of this month; hopefully after I get through with this, I'll get back to finding a much needed solution to finally clear this music arrangement target backlog since mid-March and post the files that I've been working on during this horrifying pandemic that's still plauging us as we speak. See you all later, and take care until then.

A Few Reminders For The August 2020 Month (Social Media Portals / Upcoming Forms)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 - 08:04 PM

Snagging this opportunity tonight to remind all of you faithful friends/followers of these beloved music operations of a few things as we continue to forge through this new month.

First, on the "social media portals" end, we definitely need to see about getting new "followers" on board via all our available means so including TwitterDiscordSoundCloud, and even our IRC channel on EsperNet. As mentioned on a previous entry one to two months ago, our SoundCloud follower base is about to hit the "100" mark, our Discord server itself still sits at 16 members, and our Twitter portal still stands at 59 followers. Remember that if you enjoy all this Super Nintendo music styled arrangement stuff that I've been doing and want to interact with me and others talking about this stuff, do not hesitate to join us by all means necessary. We need all the support we can get before we arrive at the "final four months" period of this year in a little over three to four weeks from now, and I'm seriously hoping that the said period will have me focusing on clearing out this huge backlog of a majority of files waiting for posting so you can check out what I've been work on all this year.

Which also brings me to this: in the meantime, and as I mentioned in this month's formal "monthly greetings entry", I'm planning on getting some new forms done which will basically be your helping me out to apparently plan any possible new Super Nintendo music style arrangements targeting modern Super Mario (main and branched) installment's scores going forward. Details on the upcoming forms in question are still top secrect, but I definitely want to see about getting those forms made and live during the course of this month so you all can let your voices be heard.

Thanks once again for your understanding as we continue to get through this new month of August together and as always, I'll keep you all posted on any new developments on these aformentioned cases in this blog entry's post as they become available. Until then, you folks stay positive, and I'll see you all later.

August 2020 Greetings: "Dormant" On The Frontend, But Not On The Backend / New Site Forms Coming Soon This Month

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, August 1, 2020 - 09:47 AM

Hey, what's happening, awesome people? Although yours truly is in the "weekend mode" at this time, I still had to make sure to snag this time to do the formal "monthly greetings" entry as we now start the month of August, and you know what that means... by the time that this new month is in the history books, we'll have made it to the "final four months" period where things start to get even more exciting by each month that passes during that time. But as already stated, we have to get through this month of August first.

Granted, it's still not a "normal/as usual" routine because of this horrifying "coronavirus pandemic" still looming over our heads as we speak, and I'm sure you all are wondering why there has been little to no actual "update activity" on the frontend of this home base of these beloved music operations of mine. But make no mistake: yours truly has still been busy like heck on the backend trying to clear the huge "music arrangement target backlog" in my planbook which has increased even further thanks to even more candidates I found in related to the musical score of Paper Mario: The Origami King, which released on the Nintendo Switch console just one to two Fridays ago. Plus, I'm still trying to find and investigate possible "alternative solutions" to see how I can finally get back to finalize a huge backlog of music arrangement files that I've done which are still waiting to get posted for these operations to this day. In short, I haven't forgotten, and of course, I'll keep you all posted on any new developments regarding this angle as the months progress.

Second, in the meantime, I also haven't forgotten that even though yours truly is the only one who has been running this music operation as a whole, it's still nothing without you fellow and faithful followers/listeners. I am hoping that during the course of this month, I can see about getting some new forms implemented that'll also help me in making further Super Nintendo music style arrangeent plans going forward. Details are still under lock and key at this time, but rest assured, when they get implemented on this site, I will let you all know about it.

Finally, and on a side note, as I also stated earlier, you all already know that this "coronavirus pandemic" has been testing my resolve for these music operations as a whole too along with my "real life/family related situations" outside of it. It's now being tested even more to the point in why there haven't been any frequent "recent postings" from me as of late for this site and music operations as a whole; the reason why is that a few days ago, I got a call from my town's extended health care facility where one of my fellow family members resides with the heartbreaking news that the related family member in question has recently become a COVID-19 statistic (although they're currently without any symptoms, but are now in a quaratine area being watched very closely). So please make sure to keep my entire family in your prayers as I have to deal with yet another enormous fight outside of these operations as the months forge ahead and let's hope that the medical community can find the "vaccine breakthrough" that's desperately needed right now to finally get this COVID-19 "monster" quashed once and for all. This has been a very trying time for all of us on every angle, but let's continue to hold on to hope, especially as we begin this brand new month. Take care for now, and I'll see you all next time around. I'm out.
