"Mario Kart Tour": New Music Arrangement Posted - "London Loop" (And A Game Related Side Note)Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, December 5, 2019 - 09:13 AM![]() ![]() Artwork of Princess Daisy in London; related to the newest featured course in Mario Kart Tour - "London Loop" (image courtesy of Nintendo of America's Mario Kart Tour Twitter account) That's right, as you can tell from the corresponding image above (as well as all other images on this blog entry itself), the song targeted was none other than the newest course for Mario Kart Tour: London Loop (the "featured course" for the "London Tour" in effect during December 4, 2019 - December 17, 2019; you can check the announcement video for it here)! ![]() Snapshot of Princess Daisy in her "Holiday Cheer" outfit posing alongside Waluigi (in his "Bus Driver" outfit); both related to the "London Tour" period and the featured "London Loop" course for it in Mario Kart Tour (courtesy of Nintendo of America's YouTube video announcing the London Tour itself) There were two factors that prompted me to get this done immediately: first, obviously the song itself that's featured for the "London Loop" course and the high energy nature of it as heard in the linked video itself; second, because of my unashamely being a dedicated fan of the Mario females still to this day, our Princess Daisy is one of the featured drivers here too (and in a "Holiday Cheer" outfit variant to boot)! What could be more exciting than that? ![]() Icon of the "London Loop" course for Mario Kart Tour featuring Princess Daisy in her "Holiday Cheer" outfit But let's keep focus on the song itself that I've recently done the Super Nintendo music styled arrangement for here: you're now able to download the newest addition for our operations by going here. I also have to once again give a shoutout to Geoff Follin and Tim Follin for creating the music instrument set for Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge because this was involved in my cover of this very awesome "London Loop" song. Once you all listen to this thing from yours truly, you'll find out why I love the aforementioned song so much. That all said, and on a side note: as you all are aware, composers wise for the Mario Kart Tour installment itself, as shown on this page, it's currently under the "TBA status". I have some assumptions based on the composing styles that I've heard so far from this game, but if anyone has any confirmations on who those composers could be, please send me an email with any valid leads so that I can investigate further and make the necessary adjustments accordingly. Thanks in advance for your assistance on all of this, everyone; I'll see you all later. No Comments | Music File Additions/Updates | Print this Post December 2019 Greetings: The "Final Month Stretch"! (What's Being Planned) / "Music File Statistics" Document Maintenance UpdatePosted by Merit Celaire on Sunday, December 1, 2019 - 09:20 AMAll right, awesome people - happy December to all of you, and welcome to the "final month" of the 2019 year! There are two things that I want to share with you all as we prepare for this "final stretch". No Comments | Site News/Update Entries | Print this Post "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe" - New Music Arrangement Posted: "Lunar Colony"Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, November 29, 2019 - 08:52 PM![]() Also, on a side note: as you can see from our "Music Arrangements Progress Page", there are currently more Super Nintendo music style arrangements currently in the works targeting the scores of either Mario Kart 8 / Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as the weeks forge ahead. But they are currently "on hold" at this time as I'm focusing on getting an all new "starting music arrangement file set" done for an upcoming game page with hopes that we can get it rolling during the course of this December. Additionally, I hope I can also find the time to work on another "staff credits" song to close out this 2019 year; I still can't guarantee anything, but keeping fingers crossed that the odds will be in our favor when December itself arrives in just a little over one day from now. Until then, make sure to keep watching the front page of this site for any new developments on these aforementioned matters stated above. See you all later. No Comments | Music File Additions/Updates | Print this Post "Mario Kart 8": Two New Music Arrangements (w/One New Featured Music Instrument Set)Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 - 02:17 PM![]() Regarding the two new additions for this respective page on our site, they are the following: * Rainbow Road (using the arrangement/instrument styling of Gradius III) * Grand Prix Mode: 1st Place Finish (using the arrangement/instrument styling of Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge) I wanted to make sure to get these out the door for you to check out before I leave to deal with some "final errands" before the Thanksgiving holidays themselves arrive in about a few hours from now; however, I'll make sure to update our "Music File Statistics" rankings document when I get back home later this evening. Finally, on a side note, there was one more Super Nintendo music style arrangement that I managed to complete that also uses the newly featured instrument set that was done for Konami's Gradius III; however, I won't be able to see about dealing with posting that until either the course of this coming Friday or Saturday after the Thanksgiving holiday itself. But I will leave this one hint: it targets an original song done for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - a Nintendo Switch console port of the WiiU game. You'll not want to miss this when the time comes! Stay tuned. No Comments | Music File Additions/Updates | Print this Post
