"Mario Kart Tour": New Music Arrangement Cover - "Paris Promenade"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, November 25, 2019 - 12:08 PM

Slowly clearing the backlog, all; this time, I was snagging the opportunity since a few days ago to do a Super Nintendo music style arrangement targeting the "Paris Promenade" course (which was also the "featured course" for the Paris Tour, held during the course of November 5, 2019 - November 19, 2019). But thanks to certain "insiders" who managed to obtain the musical score itself from this same installment before this tour duration expired, I was to do my arrangement procedures itself and get this posted to share with you all, which you can check out here. The featured arrangement/music instrument set used is Konami's SNES game Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose! this time around.

Not to mention that this related tweet (where the above corresponding image came from, courtesy of Nintendo of America's official Mario Kart Tour Twitter account) was also one of the critical factors in my going after this one for posting today.

Also, on a side note, during the course of this week (and before the Thanksgiving holiday weekend itself), there are a few more SNES music style arrangements targeting certain Mario Kart songs that I hope to get posted for our operations here. Details are undisclosed for now, but at least one song is going to involve a new featured SNES music instrument set. You'll want to check back here during the next few days to find out what that "instrument set" in question may be (as well as the targeted songs). Stay tuned, everyone!

"Super Mario Galaxy": New SNES Music Style Arrangement - "Buoy Base Galaxy"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, November 18, 2019 - 01:53 PM

Time to get another Super Nintendo music style arrangement from yours truly off the planbook backlog after months of it being "on standby" to be finalized. This time around, it's targeting the music of "Buoy Base Galaxy" (from Super Mario Galaxy); the Super Nintendo music arrangement style/featured instrument set that I used here is from Konami's Batman Returns - and it's been a very long while since I've used this set to cover a song from the Super Mario Galaxy game itself! (This now makes it the third time that the "Batman Returns" SNES music instrument set was involved in my arrangements of the Super Mario Galaxy score, following the main Bowser fight one, as well as one of the epilogue scores.)

As for the latest SNES music style cover itself that has been posted for our operations today, you can check it out by downloading it here. As always, if there are any problems with file access, don't heistate to let me know about the situation that you're dealing with regarding the file. Later, everyone.

New Game Page Added: "Mario Golf: World Tour" (With Four New Arrangements)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 - 02:09 PM

And one week after adding our game page housing Super Nintendo music style arrangements from yours truly covering the Mario Kart Tour score, we can add another one to our music operation's family here: as of today, we are now pleased to announce our addition of the Mario Golf: World Tour game page! You can get to it by clicking this link.

Not only that, but I was patiently waiting for the day to share with you the first set of Super Nintendo music style covers that I've done so far targeting the score of this game, including one course that was "character themed" - Peach Gardens to be exact (since my still being a dedicated fan of the Mario females to this day (and their related courses) unashamedly was a must to go after). Of course, I didn't go after that one alone; in this set, three scores also caught my attention to do the SNES music style covers on: Forest CourseSeaside Course, and Rock-Candy Mines.

For all four of these newest covers mentioned here, the instrument set featured in the SNES game Plok (done by Geoff and Tim Follin for using in their musical score for that game) was involved. For a few of these songs featured here, once you listen to them, you'll find out why I had to use this set to do the "arrangement process". And I should also mention that because of the addition of these newest arrangement files which feature the Plok instrument set, it has made a jump in their respective category on our "Music File Statistics" rankings document! (It is currently sitting at #8 right now.)

That's all for now; no word yet on if I'll target any more stuff music wise from this game after today. But you can bet that if something comes up, I'll let you all know. As always, if you encounter any problems with accessing these new files in question, please don't hesitate to send me an email about the matter. See you all later.

Quick Heads-Up About The "Discord Portal" Invite Link Request Form

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, November 11, 2019 - 10:31 AM

Just a quick heads-up to those of you who are wanting to submit your requests to join our music operation's server on Discord.

It's come to my attention that after you have submitted your "temporary invite request inquiry" from this page and have done the "security phases" from Formspree itself, it proceeds to the "default page" from them instead of the "confirmation page" I put up for the said form (which is actually supposed to show this page instead). I'm still waiting for an answer from the Formspree team itself to get to the bottom of this; however, rest assured, the form itself is still working and I'll obviously receive your request itself upon submission to review for the "approval/denial process" (which once again, takes a course of between 24 - 48 hours).

Thanks in advance for your understanding of this matter, and once again, please don't hesitate to still proceed in filing your requests to join our Discord server here. I'll see you all next time around; take care until then.
