Back In The "Music Arrangement Groove" Of Things; Where We Stand Now

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, September 13, 2019 - 04:24 PM

Just a quick blog entry post here to let you know that I'm still not dead on the backend; case in point, I'm happy to share that we're slowing getting back into the Super Nintendo music style arrangement process of things from that angle since a little over one week ago.

Case in point, and just to prove that I wasn't lying when I was stating some things in this specified entry here: at this time, I have been starting to clear a backlog targeting the musical scores of two Mario spinoff installments. If you folks can recall, the clues that I shared from the aforementioned entry that I linked to earlier stated that one of those installments in question is a Nintendo Switch game and the other one is a Nintendo 3DS game. But both said games in question DO NOT have a respective page for these music operations (and this site) as of yet; hopefully as the weeks forge ahead, we can see about getting them on board in due time. And the other piece of evidence: check our "Music Arrangements Progress Page"; you'll be able to see what two game installments that I am talking about.

Once again, there is still no ETA on when I'll finish my aforementioned targets covering the musical scores of said two Mario spinoff installment games; however, I'll keep you folks posted from time to time regarding how things are shaping up as well in this process as when said music arrangement file additions will be incoming when the stuff gets finalized. Right now, I have to end this entry here because I have to prepare to switch gears and deal with work obligations outside of here that are about to be thrown my way within the next few hours. See you all later.

Newest "Music Arrangement Outlook" Article Posted ("Nintendo Direct" - 9/4/'19)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, September 9, 2019 - 03:08 PM

As you folks already know, during the course of last week, a "Nintendo Direct" was posted and it involved two upcoming installments related to our interests here: Luigi's Mansion 3 and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games: Tokyo 2020.

The only question to ask here is this: regarding our current "music arrangement planbook" at this time, will the two aforementioned titles in question get possible "priority status changes" as the months forge ahead, especially after the games themselves see release later on this year? This latest "Music Arrangement Outlook" article that we've posted here just moments ago will have that answer.

That's all for now, everyone; see you all next entry as new developments occur. Stay postive, awesome people! I'm out.

"Gallery List" Game Pages File Link Modifications Completed As Of 9/3/2019

Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 02:48 PM

That's right, everyone; as of the date and time of this posting, we can at last declare this case officially closed. Yours truly snagged the chance to deal with the Super Paper Mario page of our "Gallery List" section in regards to updating our external file links pointing to our new external file hosting account with MEGA. So now, all our "Gallery List" pages on this site are now up to date with all existing file links accounted for; however, if you are still having difficulty with accessing the files themselves under our new external file host, please do not hesitate to send me an email addressing your case to me as soon as possible.

Once again, a few quick reminders related to this case:

(1) Any previous blog entries before this one which had links to our music files under the SaberCat Host and/or Instaudio accounts under us have been or will be nullified. Instaudio deactivated all file links to their servers last Saturday (8/31/2019), and we are in the process of starting the cancellation process with SaberCat Host within the next few days which will result in any external file links to the SaberCat file hosting servers nulled as well. This should be considered as a "final warning" now that we've gotten all our "Gallery List" pages up to date with our new external file host.

(2) Because of our music files themselves being externally hosted by the folks at MEGA, you need to ensure that the browser that you're using is able to access the site itself where the files are stored. As previously mentioned in this entry last Saturday, compatible browsers that MEGA allows for accessing/downloading of files in question include Google Chrome, Opera, and Mozilla Firefox. Once again, I've still yet to investigate if the latest versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer and/or Microsoft Edge are compatible with the MEGA file hosting access system for downloading of our music operation's files here; however, if anyone has attempted to do this and run into any possible breakthroughs, please don't hesitate to let me know the word about this as well.

Once again, we appreciate your understanding of these matters as well as give thanks for all your patience these past few weeks as yours truly was literally sorting out all our "Gallery List" game pages to get the file links themselves up to date pointing to our recently established hosting account. And now that this case is completely closed as of today, I can see about starting to get back in the music arrangement groove full force and attack my planbook's backlog during these "final four months" of the 2019 year. See you all later.

"Nintendo Direct" Incoming For 9/4/'19

Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 10:04 AM

This just in as I got up and getting ready to deal with my business of the day, everyone: a Nintendo Direct is incoming and slated to be posted during the course of tomorrow, 9/4/'19.

You all know the drill for these music operations: I'll be checking that presentation itself during that time to see if we've got any possible Super Nintendo music style arrangement candidate updates on the horizon regarding Super Mario (and branched) videogame installments (as well as if any outlooks from my previous "Music Arrangements Outlook" article may need some adjusting). According to this announcement posted here on Twitter by Nintendo of America, one of those featured installments is going to be Luigi's Mansion 3. But could there be some other Mario videogame installments featured along with that one during tomorrow's presentation? We'll have to tune in at 6:00 P.M. (E.S.T.)/3:00 P.M. (P.S.T.) to find out.

As always, after I checked out the presentation itself and gathered all related materials together, be on the lookout for a new "Music Arrangements Outlook" article regarding this newest Nintendo Direct presentation soon after. Stay tuned.
