"Gallery List" File Link/Page Revisions (7/8/'19)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, July 8, 2019 - 03:54 PM

Targeting our two Super Mario Galaxy game pages today for the table implementation/file links update process, everyone! And by that, although it shouldn't bear actual mentioning, these two pages have gotten their respective modifications:

Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy 2

This now makes a total of 14 existing "Gallery List" pages that have received their respective modifications (out of the overall 24 pages that we have). At this time, I'm currently checking where things stand on these efforts and making plans on what pages to target next, hopefully within the next few days; it looks like we're now about to cover pages which have had 35 - 40 Super Nintendo music style arrangements (or even more) for the respective featured installment(s) in question. (No joke here, friends; I mean, take a look at our Game & Wario page or even our Super Mario 3D World page! We're about to hit the "major territories" in due time; it's only a matter of when those pages will be dealt with.)

As always, will keep you posted as remaining "Gallery List" pages get their revisions on this site. Stay tuned!

"Gallery List" File Link/Page Revisions (7/7/'19)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Sunday, July 7, 2019 - 10:19 PM

This evening, everyone, four more "Gallery List" game pages on this site have gotten their respective revisions and related file link updates for them. The pages themselves in question include the following:

* Super Mario 3D Land
* Mario Tennis Open
* Wario Land: Shake It!
* Mario Kart 7

As of this revision update tonight, we are now halfway there in getting our "Gallery List" pages accounted for with the new tables and respective file link changes. If you haven't had the chance to read the forewarning from my last blog entry regarding this case overall, please make sure to go here and read the latter part of said article.

As always, if there are any problems with accessing said music files themselves on the updated above pages listed, please make sure to send me an email letting me know of the issues so that I can look into them in a timely manner. Thanks, and take care, all; I'm out.

July 4th Happenings / "Discord Portal" Reminder: More Members Needed!

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, July 4, 2019 - 08:33 AM

Morning, everyone; just snagging this time to give a shoutout to all of you on this July 4th holiday (to those of us who are celebrating it here in the United States). Definitely make the most of it just like the other major holidays (being Thanksgiving and Christmas, which will be at our doorsteps come the November / December period).

Two things that I need to quickly share before I step out to join the rest of the crew on this holiday break: first, as I discussed on previous entries before this one, our site's "Gallery List" page revisions/file links list update procedures continue in earnest; however, I'm obviously not going to deal with any today (or Friday) because of the July 4th holiday. However, I am making plans in terms of what pages under this section to target next; hopefully, I'll snag time during the course of this coming Saturday morning to make more progress on this angle. As always, when this is done, I'll be letting you folks know the latest batch of pages that have gotten the revisions.

Second, this is a very good time to remind all of you faithful friends/listeners for these music operations that we really, really, really need more people to join our music operations' related Discord server. As of the date and time of this posting, we are currently sitting at 17 members (including myself); but there's always room for more... if you are obviosuly a fan of Nintendo's Super Mario video game series and looking forward to interact with me (and others) about the Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers of certain songs from modern installments for the series being done for these operations, please don't hesitate to join us (just make sure to read the rules on the #server-rules channel first before proceeding further).

On a related note: I still haven't forgotten about the "forum portal" and "IRC portal" areas; I just need to snag the time to check into those places to do apparent "maintenance work" after I finish with the "Gallery List" page revision/file links list update process. We're getting things done slowly, but surely.

Take care for now, everyone; and once again, have a great 4th of July holiday for those of us who are celebrating in the States. See you all later.

"Gallery List" File Link/Page Revisions (7/2/'19)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 - 08:31 PM

This evening, the following pages for our site's "Gallery List" section have been updated, along with the corresponding music file links for them:

* Super Mario Odyssey
* Mario Kart Arcade GP DX
* Mario Super Sluggers
* New Super Mario Bros. 2
* Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash

This now makes a total of of eight pages so far that now have the new table formats implemented for them, along with the respective file links redirected to our new external file hosting account (which is Instaudio, in case you haven't heard or read our previous blog entry post announcing the new account we have over there).

Also, a forewarning that once all respective pages for our "Gallery List" section have been updated (along with getting all file links current to the new account), it is planned for us to close the account that we have with SaberCat Host. That obviously means that any previous blog entry articles from this site which had us link to our music operation's files from that former external file host will become inactive when the files get deleted in due time.

Once again, your patience is greatly appreciated during this transitional period; as always, if you have any difficulties with accessing said files that were revised after the updates to the above pages, please do not hesitate to send me an email immediately stating any issues that you may be experiencing so that I can investigate them in a timely manner. Thanks in advance, all, and I'll keep you folks posted on any more "Gallery List" page changes as I snag more chances to work on them. I'm out.
