June 2019 Greetings: The "Summer Months Routine" Begins Now

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, June 1, 2019 - 05:18 PM

All right, friends; yours truly is currently in the "weekend mode" for these operations, but I just got off my seasonal work obligations to snag the chance and get this formal "monthly greetings entry" out of the way. And as you can already see from this entry's title, we have now without a doubt entered into the "summer months routine" for this year.

But first, I am still playing some "catch up" in terms of my site update planbook from last month; the "outside real life obligations" have kept getting in my way (which include my "seasonal work obligations" that I started since earlier last month). At this time, I'm still trying to finish up the "Music Arrangements Outlook article" that I was starting to write up since a few days ago in regards to the recent "Nintendo Direct" that got posted mainly focusing on the upcoming Super Mario Maker 2 installment (slated for release later this month, 6/28/'19). I hope to get that dealt with before the end of this weekend so I can prepare my next course of action of action for this month.

And speaking of "next courses of action", that would also include the incoming E3 2019 happenings that will be occuring in about a little over one week from now. I'll elaborate on that more in another post as the week itself draws near. But one thing is for certain: I am without a doubt looking forward to the Nintendo Direct that's planned to be posted for that event in due time.

That's it for now because I have to get going; until then, all of you stay positive as we get into this new month of June head on! I'm out for now.

Latest "Music File Statistics Update" Article Up ("Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker" (5/21/'19))

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 - 01:49 PM

Today, everyone, I have managed to get our newest dedicated "Music File Statistics Update" article focused on the music arrangements file addition update that was made during the course of last week (which was covering songs from the Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker installment; if you haven't seen that post yet, please make sure to read here).

As what was noted, because of the recent additions for our operations here, the respective "Music File Statistics Rankings Document" without a doubt had some adjustments in ranks for both the featured Mario (and branched) game installments here as well as the featured Super Nintendo music instrument sets that I have used so far for this place overall.

You can read up on further details regarding this by accessing this article. As always, if you have any further questions after checking said article out, please don't hesitate to send me an email. Later, all!

Newest Batch of Arrangements: "Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 - 01:25 PM

The wait is over for our newest batch of Super Nintendo music style arrangements targeting the Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker installment, friends. After two to three years of this related page lying in dormancy, yours truly is finally able to see about posting 14 new covers that I have worked on since a few months back. And I doubt that you'll be disappointed in what I have to share with you folks, which include the following:

* Episode Intro Courses (Animaniacs (SNES Version) Arrangement)
* Episode 1 Fanfare (Animaniacs (SNES Version) Arrangement)
* Episode 2 / 3 Fanfare (Animaniacs (SNES Version) Arrangement)
* Episode 2 Course Select (Inspector Gadget Arrangement)
* Spinwheel Library (Disney's Aladdin (SNES Version - Capcom) Arrangement)
* Lava and Poision Water Courses (Super Castlevania 4 Arrangement)
* Train Courses ("Blizzard on the Star Express" / "Fright Train Flight") (Inspector Gadget Arrangement)
* Fortress Courses ("Sliding Slab Shuffle" / "No Sleep at Magikoopa Keep") (Inspector Gadget Arrangement)
* Wingo's Tower Courses - Main Theme (Disney's Aladdin (SNES Version - Capcom) Arrangement)
* Wingo's Tower Courses - Boss Fight 1 ("Wingo's Watchtower") (Disney's Aladdin (SNES Version - Capcom) Arrangement)
* Wingo's Tower Courses - Boss Fight 2 ("Wingo's Whackdown") (Disney's Aladdin (SNES Version - Capcom) Arrangement)
* Wingo's Whackdown - The "Ultimate Rescue" (Animaniacs (SNES Version) Arrangement)
* Wingo's Whackdown - Final "Celebration/Course Clear" Fanfare (Inspector Gadget Arrangement)
* Main "Course Clear" Fanfare (Inspector Gadget Arrangement)

And the thing is that I'm not done targeting stuff from this game yet; however, at this time, I need to focus on cover other games that are still sitting in my planbook's backlog. However, be on a lookout for an upcoming "Music File Statistics" article in the coming days because these recent file additions for our music operations here have rocked certain rankings for this document as well. There might be an upcoming "Behind the Process" entry in relation to this as well, so be ready for that to come down the pipeline soon!

As always, if you have any difficulties in accessing these new files that have been posted, please do not hesitate to let me know via this email form. Thanks in advance, all; enjoy these new postings, and take care for now.

Three News Tidbits As We Prepare for the Week of 5/20/'19

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, May 17, 2019 - 09:40 PM

Evening, friends; it's been a busy few days for yours truly on the backend of these operations (not to mention about my other "outside obligations" including a new 'seasonal job' that I was able to land since late last week). But I have just snagged the chance to see about sharing three news tidbits that I need to let you all know about as I am about to shift into "weekend mode" and prepare for the new week ahead starting on 5/20/'19.

(1) Latest Batch of "Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker" Music Arrangement Files Being Finalized
First and foremost, the latest batch of my Super Nintendo music style arrangements targeting the Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker score are currently in the process of being finalized for addition to these operations. I'm hoping to do final checks on them during the next few days and aiming to get them posted for you all to listen to during the course of next week. You all definitely do not want to miss out on what I've recently covered this time around! Keep it bookmarked on this front page on an announcement post when the files become available.

(2) Music Operations Backup Procedures
Next, I'm hoping that during the course of this weekend itself, I can get a very important "backup update" process done on the backend side of things to ensure that all the discs that hold the music files that I've done so far (both my "tracker source files" and the MP3 files that were created for finalizing/posting) are up to date. This is one thing I want to make sure that I get done before the "summer months" hit in a few weeks from now before I proceed to clear my "music arrangement target backlog" further (which, of course, is after I get my latest batch of music arrangement files targeting the Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker score out of the way, as stated above).

(3) "Music Arrangements Outlook" (Nintendo Direct (5/15/'19) - "Super Mario Maker 2") Still In The Works
As you all know, a few days back, the latest "Nintendo Direct" was posted on Nintendo's network of site focused on the newest details that were announced for the upcoming Super Mario Maker 2 installment for Nintendo Switch (which can be viewed here). I did get a chance to view the presentation itself and still am working on getting the "Music Arrangements Outlook" document written up to let you know where things stand for me in terms of if there might be any possible candidates to do Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers on (however, as I said before on previous entries, it looks like I may have run into a special case in which I might have to approach these songs a little differently). I'll keep you all posted on when that document itself goes live, hopefully before the end of this month. Stay tuned.

That's all I have to share for now; if you have any further questions regarding these matters, please do not hesitate to email me with your inquries so I can answer them in a timely manner upon reception of them. Thanks in advance, and you all stay positive this coming weekend! I'm out.
