Access To Site Temporarily Limited Due To "House Internet" Matters
Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, May 3, 2019 - 05:09 PM
Heads-up, everyone: this is just to let you all know that during the course of this weekend (and maybe next week), unless situations regarding my "house internet access" get fully resolved, my online activity will be extremely limited at this time. At the time of this writing, I am at my town's public library making sure to get this notice posted on the site before I have to catch the bus for home.
Regarding "interactivity/community" portals, I am still able to access our music operations "Discord Portal" on my phone to converse with all of you there. I am also planning to head to my town's public library during the course of tomorrow morning to check and/or catch up on any email correspondence that we may have received regarding our music operations here (but please be aware that I may not be able to get to your inquiries until during the course of next week itself).
Apologies for any inconveniences caused regarding this matter, everyone; I honestly do appreciate your understanding in advance. Take care for now.

New Twitter Poll Posted (5/3/'19) - Music Arrangement Planning for the Rest of May 2019
Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, May 3, 2019 - 04:53 PM
Was attempting to get this blog entry posted during the course of yesterday, but other matters got in the way.
As you all already know, I'm still hard at work trying to make more progress on my latest batch of Super Nintendo music style arrangements targeting the Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker score. Here's the thing: I am hoping that during the course of this month, after I see about getting the newest aforementioned batch accounted for and posted for sharing with you all, I can make plans on attacking the backlog in accordance to this page before the "summer months" arrive in full force in just a few weeks from now.
Therefore, I still need your votes/input on this latest poll on Twitter that I have posted right here. As it stands right now, our "Music Arrangement Progress Page" shows that I'm also currently working on new SNES music style arrangement covers involving the scores of these installments: Mario Tennis Aces, Mario Kart 8 / Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Luigi's Mansion, and Super Mario Galaxy. What I would like to know which will help me on my next course of action is which installment on said Twitter poll would you like me to focus on next (and once again, this is after I have finished, finalized, and posted my latest batch of SNES music style covers targeting the Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker score).
Please be aware that since I posted this yesterday morning and given it a "one week duration" on Twitter, that means the poll itself is set to close this coming Thursday, May 9th. So if you haven't cast your votes regarding this poll yet, please do so before that day by going here. Your responses/votes submitted in a timely fashion are greatly appreciated in advance to help me plan for the rest of this month; take care for now, everyone.

May 2019 Greetings: "Summer Months" Countdown
Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 - 10:13 AM
Hey, good morning, friends; we are now in the next to final month for the first half of this 2019 year! Thing is, as I stated in previous entries before this one, I've been going through a "health roadblock" since the past week (which included a combination of sinus pressure, nasal congestion, sore throat and chest congestion adversaries) resulting in my experiencing horrifying mental blocks that have kept me from progressing to finish my latest planned batch of Super Nintendo music style arrangements focused on the Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker score. Thankfully, I've been able to take needed medications in four hour increments (along with needed rest) so that I can return to full strength; if all goes well, I hope I can resume my music arrangement efforts on aforementioned stuff here before the end of this week. Still no ETA on when the latest planned files will be posted, but I can assure you that I'll stay on top of things and keep you updated on this front page of the site.
With that said, as this entry title states, the countdown has now started as we get ready to approach the "summer months" period. For our music operations, we consider the "summer months" to cover the timespan of June, July, and August. My only hope this month (which of course, is not a guarantee that it will happen) is that after I get the lastest batch of upcoming music arrangements covering Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker out of the way, I can snag the time to clear the backlog of other stuff regarding targets that I've also been working on according to this page. But let's not forget that I also still have some "real life" situations that I'm dealing with outside of these music operations at this time, which also includes my continued efforts to land a job for the Monday - Friday/Saturday timeframe, so please keep fingers crossed for me that I'll finally have a breakthrough landed during the course of this month.
Finally, before I switch gears and prepare to head out and take care of some very important business outside of this place, this is a very good reminder to let all of you know that two of our "community interaction portal" really need a boost right now on the supporter fronts (and I'm not saying this out of being conceited or desperate). I'm still trying to find time on my schedule for looking into getting our site's Forum Portal area back in action (especially for the summer months); it's still the planned "main area" of community interaction, although I am aware that place has been "under maintenance" for months. Very depressing, I know. But at least the other two "interactivity portals" are still in good action: the IRC Portal and the Discord Portal. But... as I just stated, we still need to get new interested enthusiasts in those two areas... so if you are into Nintendo's Super Mario series as well as the efforts of doing covers of the "modern" songs in the Super Nintendo music style, please do not hesitate to join us (just make sure to abide by the rules of both portals, of course).
Until next entry, everyone; stay positive and let's hope for the absolute best in this new month! I'll see you all later.

Quick Update on a Few Music Operations Related Things
Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, April 26, 2019 - 09:39 AM
Hey, good morning, friends; just a quick news update on a few things which are music operations related here.
(1) Google Drive - Closing In on a "Final Decision" First, last week, I attempted to post a poll on our Twitter profile regarding finding a more reliable external file hosting candidate. Although it pains me that we haven't received any votes in the poll, I still have good news to report that I may be closing in on a final decision soon. I have, however, received correspondence from some of you via other channels like our IRC and Discord portals discussing about this same matter; rest assured, I am listening and am weighing my options accordingly. If it does result in my having to do a move of our music files to a Google Drive account, it won't be happening instantaneously; at the same time I'm writing this, I'm still trying to make more music arrangement progress on the backend so I can share new stuff with you before months end (and during the course of the beginning of the "summer months" which aren't far off).
(2) Music Arrangement Progress Which brings me to this part of the news: I'm still hard at work trying to make more progress on three songs to complete the upcoming batch of my Super Nintendo music styled arrangements targeting the musical score of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. The sad thing is, at the time of this writing, I am currently battling a seriously annoying stufy nose/nasal congestion which has hampered my thinking clearly to get this done. Hopefully during the course of this weekend, this roadblock will die down so I can get back in form during the course of this weekend (after I get back home from church). Not only that, but after I see about getting this batch posted, I hope I can see about planning to take care of the remaining stuff on the backburner as shown on this page. Keep fingers crossed that I'll make it through regarding this angle, all!
That's all I've got for now regarding what's been going on for these music operations as a whole on the backend side of things; as always, if you have any further questions regarding what has been discussed here, please do not hesitate to send me an email and I'll make sure to get back with you as my schedule allows. Thanks in advance, everyone; I'm out.
