IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Account Maintenance Incoming On Our "SoundCloud Portal"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 - 04:30 PM

Okay, friends; this posting targets our SoundCloud Portal of these music operations because I need to give you all a heads-up on what's about to come within the next few days.

Although I'm still working on the backend to see about hopefully "upgrading" the said account in due time to have more timespace added, I will be checking through the account itself to carefully choose which certain songs to pull down in order to increase the timespace that's alloted to us under the "free account" status there. Please be assured that I'll consider all factors before making those final decisions regarding file takedowns there because folks are still posting "likes" and occasionally reposting my music operation's stuff over there.

Second, as you already know, regarding file descriptions on our SoundCloud account there, previous links to our "home base website" here still exist and I still intend to fix that to make sure that all links point to the current domain that we're using. Once again, in the meantime, for those of you who also visit SoundCloud, the only URL that you should worry about clicking to access this "home base website" of our operations is the URL link on our SoundCloud profile page.

Thanks in advance for your understanding on this matter; will keep you posted on any new developments regarding said case as it occurs within the next few days. I'm out for now.

Getting Concensus on Featured Super Nintendo Music Instrument Sets

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, March 1, 2019 - 12:42 PM

I posted this on our music operation's Twitter account a few hours ago before leaving my house to attend a job interview appointment, but this still needs to be announced and shared here.

As you know, in regards to my Super Nintendo music style arrangements of "modern" Super Mario (and branched) videogame scores done for the Wii/Wii U/Nintendo 3DS/Switch and other noteworthy installments (like Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, for example), I have been carefully selecting from these music instrument sets listed here to do "the process" in trying to stay close to the original tunes themselves (while keeping within "channel limitations" of the Super Nintendo sound system itself).

Although I intend to continue doing this route (which would be my "traditional route" for these music operations), I'm posting this concensus because I need to know what Super Nintendo games themselves that you've heard of and/or played based on the music instrument sets featured on this list.

You can send me your replies to this question via email form, the original posting that I put up on Twitter, the IRC channel (when I'm online there, of course) or in our respective music operations' channel at our Discord server. Please send me your responses as soon as possible because this is also to help me plan and prepare for the months ahead due to some possible "recent situations" which look like it will impact my planbook on the backend as a whole regarding this music operations itself entirely.

Thanks in advance for your help on this, everyone; I'm out.

March 2018 Greetings: The Real Action Begins

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, March 1, 2019 - 12:12 PM

Hey there, awesome friends and followers of these music operations; happy March to all of you as we officially begin an all new month for this 2019 year. First and foremost, if you haven't had a chance to read our formal "9th Anniversary Statement" for this place as a whole yet (which had a little bit of a "twist" to it) that I posted a few days ago before February came to a close, make sure to check this entry out; it also has the link to that document in question as well as a related "image gallery" that you can view after you've read the statement itself.

But of course, as stated earlier, that statement itself which I posted late last month is still nothing unless there's a plan put in place in order to start attacking the "challenges" these music operations face going forward. The ultimate challenge, of course, is my clearing an ever increasing "music arrangement target" backlog that's plagued my planbook on the backend for months; hopefully those effort can be stepped up this month. Not to mention that I'm still trying to find time to finish investigating a possible new "community portal", as well as rechecking how our activity on our SoundCloud account is doing.

Bottom line: the "environments" as a whole regarding the Super Mario series and its following (including my following it as well) are in no doubt changing slowly, and we all need to prepare for those changes, which apparently includes these music operations overall in due time. As always, I'll keep you all posted on any new developments as they occur because I don't want you to miss out on any major happenings when it's time to them to be shared.

This is also a good time to remind you all that once again, no, I haven't forgotten about our site's Forum Portal area; the priorities I have right now are dealing with clearing the music arrangement target backlog for these operations as a whole, doing some possible maintenance on the SoundCloud account, as well as reassessing our IRC and Discord portals, along with finishing investigating another one and making a final decision (and possible preparation for it).

Bottom line is this: as stated in this entry's title, it's time for us to start taking real action for this place starting this month; I'm looking forward to getting these things dealt with as the weeks progress. Stay tuned.

The Formal "9th Anniversary Statement" Document Is Now Available

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 - 08:24 PM

Tonight, friends, I'm pleased to announce that our formal "9th Anniversary Statement" document is now completed and available for you all to check out here on the site by going right here. Be forewarned that not only might it be possibly a long read (trust me, there are valid reasonings why this is so due to some "clues" that I've run into possibly dictating my planbook for the rest of this year), but it seems that some folks got word of my working on this statement and wanted to snag the chance to help make it a little more exciting.

Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, and Rosalina, ready and waiting to assist in this "9th Anniversary Statement"... but how? The answer's in the related document itself; check it out and get reading A.S.A.P.!

Yes, that's right, our lead Mario females Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, and Rosalina wanted to lend a hand in my doing our "anniversary statement" for this year. Especially since it's been a very long while since I've done this "Behind the Process" entry from a few years back which also involved the Mario females as well.

Also, after reading the anniversary statement that we've just put up, you should also check this corresponding page as well to check all of the images that were made to correspond with the document itself. As always, acknowledgements will be listed there as well where it's due regarding the materials used for those images themselves. Let me know via email form if you have any access problems with anything linked above in this entry. Later, all!
