Preparing For Valentine's Day - New Music Arrangement Files Incoming

Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 - 10:06 AM

Morning, friends; while I've been still trying to snag the time to prepare for our music operation's 9th anniversary in just a few days from now, I've also been making preparations for our first possible music arrangement additions of 2019. And apparently, it looks like it may be coming during the course of Valentine's Day, which is this Thursday, February 14.

Details are still undisclosed in regards to what songs I have targeted, but I'll leave you with these hints: as you can see from our "Music Arrangements Progress Page", two songs from Super Mario Galaxy are being targeted. And they both are on the "simple side" (because you still gotta start simple and easy, but still make sure you get the new music postings started for the year, right?).

I'll share more details when we arrive at that day which is when the two upcoming music arrangements will be posted as well. There may be some "extra stuff" to share as we give our Valentine's Day shoutout itself as the files become available, so watch out for it. You won't want to miss this! Take care until then.

Still Alive On The Backend; Reminder Of What Needs Your Reponses So Far

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, February 9, 2019 - 07:50 PM

Okay, everyone; things may currently seem "dormant" on the front end, but I can assure you faithful folks that it's not dormant on the back end! It's just that as I'm writing this, I'm currently scrambling to find my next "job candidate" outside of this operations which will hopefully have me set for the rest of this year itself. Keep fingers crossed that I'll reach a breakthrough and something gets landed to help me rebuild my finances on the personal end.

That said, and at this time as we get ready for our music operation's 9th anniversary in a little over one week from now, there are still some things that still need your responses as we get ready to address this year's challenges head on.

(1) The Upcoming "FAQ Page"
I'm still waiting to hear from you folks in regards to what questions I should address on our upcoming FAQ Page here on this site. Once again, as I have stated in this entry, I have a few questions myself that I want to start that said upcoming page with, but I want to make sure that you all have a say in this as well (but legitimate and music operations questions only, please). Let me know on our respective community portals including TwitterIRC (when I'm online there, of course) and Discord (the forums are still closed at this time, as you already know).

(2) Possible New Stuff for "Valentines Day"...?
As you all know, "Valentine's Day" is about to arrive in just a few days from now. Nothing's set in stone yet in regards to these music operations (because of the "personal reasons" stated above), but I've been playing catch up and making plans on new music targets to do Super Nintendo music style covers of. I might have hit at least one candidate, but I need to investigate further on it before making any final decisions on doing "the process" for said candidates. Will keep you all posted.

That's all for now because I'm still in the "weekend mode" at this time. As always, if you folks have any further questions about the details on this posting, please don't hesitate to send me an email. I'm out.

Recent Twitter Postings Looking Back on 2018

Posted by Merit Celaire on Sunday, February 3, 2019 - 10:28 PM

Hi there, friends; just snagged the chance to get this heads-up to you posted on our home base website even though this got started a few days ago. On our Twitter portal account, I posted some "poll questions" to get input from you all regarding a variety of topics in relation to these music operations including looking back on the 2018 year itself. So if you haven't already, make sure to check out the following and let me hear from you on these things:

(1) Favorite "Featured Game" involving SNES music style covers of 2018 (Actual poll attached; 3 - 4 days remain)
(2) Favorite SNES Music Style Covers of 2018 targeting the Super Mario Odyssey score
(3) Favorite SNES Music Style Covers of 2018 targeting the Mario Kart Arcade GP DX score
(4) Favorite SNES Music Style Covers of 2018 targeting the Luigi's Mansion score
(5) Listing Your Favorite Featured Super Nintendo music instrument set used during the 2018 year

That's the recent posts that I've made on our Twitter account since a few days ago; once again, one of them has an actual poll attached - only three to four days remain for you all to cast your votes on it. So make sure to help us out and let your voices be heard. And make sure to post your replies to the above threads as well.

Also, don't forget to follow us over there on Twitter as well so that you won't miss a thing (along with making sure to include this site itself on your browser's bookmark lists). Take care, all.

February 2019 Greetings: Counting Down to our Anniversary

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, February 1, 2019 - 08:14 AM

Hey, good morning, everyone; welcome to February!

Trying my best to keep this formal "greetings entry" short because I have to prepare to start switching gears dealing with very important business outside of these music operations. But I still had to make sure to get this out of the way to let you all know that yours truly is still here and snagging the time as best as I can to get general stuff ready for our operation's 9th anniversary in just a few weeks from now.

When I get the chance during the course of this upcoming weekend or early next week itself, I'll see if I can get some poll discussions via our Twitter Portal to get input from all you awesome people regarding favorite games featured here, as well as the songs I've covered from those games in the Super Nintendo music arrangement style, along with the featured instrument sets themselves that have been involved so far.

In short: get ready, friends; we're in no doubt going to have an awesome time in this brand new month that just started for us. Until then, as always, our Twitter and Discord portals are always open, and don't forget to join us on the IRC channel too so you won't miss a thing. This is a big deal for us because we're in the "anniversary month" of this endeavor of mine, so keep it posted here on the front page too as we start counting down toward the "annivesary day" itself. Later, all!
