Music Operations Mateirals Backup Procedures Finished; What's Planned for the Rest of January
Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, January 17, 2019 - 09:04 AM
Hey, good Thursday morning to all of you out there, awesome Super Nintendo music style fans as well as Super Mario videogame series enthusiasts. As of the date and time of this posting, we have finally completed our necessary backup procedures for these entire music operations including the site, forum database, and music files in general (including source files on the backend). So all is set for all of us to get back to normal operations procedure starting today. But there are a few announcements that I need to address, which are listed below.
(1) The "Forum Portal" Section Remains Closed At This Time Because of recent happenings regarding our music operations in general before this posting (along with my trying to catch up on missed planned content on all angles related to it), the "forum portal" of this website remains closed for the time being. Although I know it's painful news to hear since it's still the planned primary angle of contact to gather fans/followers in the "community setting", the remaining angles of contacting me and others under these operations still remain in play which include email form, IRC channel, Twitter, and Discord. I hope we can see about getting everything back up to speed so we can get the forums itself back in action; however, there's no ETA at this time in terms of when it will be back in play there. Will keep you all posted regarding that situation.
(2) About the "Catch-Up on Planned Content" Itself for January As stated earlier in section 1, the "planned content" itself in question was our looking back on the previous year for our music operations (and man, what a year it was in terms of the newest Super Nintendo music style arrangements that I've added for these operations). I'll elaborate on that further after regaining strength from this ordeal that I had to deal with since late November/early December of last year. Hopefully, we can get that article itself posted during the course of next week itself, so watch for it.
(3) Preparing for our Music Operation's 9th Anniversary The clock is already ticking regarding this matter: in a little more than a month from now, these music operations as a whole is going to reach it's 9th anniversary. Although I'm trying my best to get back to "full strength" for the music arrangement procedures themselves for this new year overall, I still have to work on getting new "portals" in play, especially for when we start our operation's 9th anniversary itself. Details are still under lock and key, but if the clues are telling me correctly - and I know I've even said this to myself many times before - the "environments" have been shifting in terms of how to get the word out about us and if we don't answer to those "demands", the odds won't be in our favor down the road. I refuse to let those "adversarial odds" happen; I'm still currently doing investigations/preparations to get ready for answering those "challenges" as the 9th anniversary itself arrives. I'm looking forward to meeting them head on to make sure we still keep our love for Super Nintendo music style arrangement stuff alive, especially in terms of my passion for covering modern Super Mario (and branched) musical scores in this case. Many have tried to stop us on this journey, but with God as my witness, even though I've been struggling to keep this alive, my passion for this endeavor has not budge and I personally thank those of you for sticking with me here. I can assure you that all this has not been done in vain.
All that said, and what was also stated earlier, even though our main area of interactivity is currently out of action at this time (which, of course, is the forums), that doesn't mean that you're not able to get in contact with me via other means for this means. Once again, I'm still accepting your email inquiries for music operation suggestions for the 2019 year; plus don't forget our other "interactivity" portals including Twitter, IRC, SoundCloud and Discord. The time has come for all of us to band together and continue to ensure that our passion for Super Nintendo music style arrangement stuff still lives on for this year, especially for these music operations which will continue to cover modern Super Mario (and branched) game musical scores done for the Wii, WiiU, Nintendo 3DS, and now, the Nintendo Switch console. I thank you all in advance for your support and look forward to getting back on this journey itself starting next week. Until then, stay positive for the rest of this January, everyone, and I'll see you all next time. Take care for now.

Where Things Stand As Of 1/14/2019
Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, January 14, 2019 - 10:11 AM
Morning, everyone; just snagging the chance to get everyone up to speed regarding what's been going on with these music operations as of late. I know that many of you are asking when is yours truly going to finally get back in the "music arrangement groove" for the 2019 year itself. Believe me, I'm asking the same question myself; I'm happy to announce that we are almost to the point of getting back to normal around here.
First, we are near the finishing point of getting the music operation's "home base website" and forum database for it completely backed up; the "materials" in the backup itself are prior to this posting. But it'll defintiely be the "safeguard" that we need before we really get back to normal procedures around these parts (and believe me, I'm going to be more than ready for when that day comes; hopefully before the end of this month itself).
Second, the other part of the backup process is making sure that my music "tracker source files" and the finalized music files themselves that we've hosted on these operations so far are up to date. The plan is to check on that after the main backup process itself for this site/forums is done.
If all goes to plan, we should be back to "normal action" for these music operations next week. Thanks once more for your patience throughout this whole ordeal that we've been facing since a few months back; here's hoping we'll be back to positive ground when all of these matters are completely behind us. I'm gone for now.

Latest News about the "Server Hosting" Case (1/10/'19)
Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, January 10, 2019 - 01:35 PM
Hi there, everyone; quick posting to keep everyone in the know about what has been going on as of late from the "server hosting" side of things.
As you may already be aware by the "floated announcement" at this time, I'm still snagging the chances to complete the backup procedures for this entire site including the forum database. Only that right now, I'm currently "on break" right now with my "seasonal work obligations" just so that I can see about getting this posted to let you all know that I'm still around.
With that said, and as you may have also read, we've got some good news that our current site hosting services (which, of course, is VimlyHost) is not slated to shut down the server hosting this site after all. However, on the backend, the services for it are going to be restructed. Thankfully, at this time, our hosting account with them is currently safe since they managed to successfully move this site to a more stable server late last month.
To add to the news in said paragraph above: because of the events that plagued my being able to actually update this site (especially in terms of adding blog entries) and my filing numerous support tickets to have said matters addressed, I have been approached by two personal contacts also in relation to VimlyHost: one via email correspondence and another via our music operation's Discord Portal. They state that they are going to make sure along with myself that events like what I've encountered as of late will not happen again in the long run, especially as we begin this 2019 year.
As soon as backup procedures are done (both regarding the site itself, and my music operations materials in general including the files themselves), we can finally see about getting back to normal operations for this place. This has been a turbulent first ten days, but we're getting through this in earnest. Hang in there, everyone.
As always, if you have any additional questions regarding this case at hand, please do not hesitate to send me an email. Thanks, all.

Still Taking Music Operations Management Suggestions for 2019
Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, January 4, 2019 - 01:13 PM
Although the top priority right now for me at this time is to get the "server hosting matters" resolved in a timely manner before later this month, this is also a quick heads-up/reminder to you all that I am still taking music operations management suggestions for the course of this 2019 year. I would usually have a forum topic posted at this point, but since the "forum portal" area is currently closed, the best course of action for you folks to take is by contacting me via our email form.
Please note that there is absolutely no guarantee that every suggestion submitted to me via this form will be honored; however, rest assured that I'll invesitage every possibility to see if it's something that should be looked into forward in the months to come.
Thanks in advance once more for your support of these music operations themsevles, everyone; looking forward to hearing from you all shortly with those 2019 music operations management suggestions themselves. I'm gone for now.
