Quick PSA About Plagiarism Attempts Against Our Operations' Policies

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 - 04:22 PM

This quick PSA had to be brought up because of a certain case that I've heard about when checking out our music operation's Twitter account on the main timeline page end and saw that someone was crying foul against another person because they were committing plagiarism; it even led to that person who was crying foul ultimately blocking that offender because they were using said materials without crediting the person who originally created that content in the first place.

Obviosuly the case stated above is not in relation to these music operations here overall, but it still must be said that I still make sure to take every measure necessary around here to do the exact opposite to make sure it complies with our policies shown here. Plagiarism attempts that violate our policy in any form is unacceptable and will not be tolerated under any circumstances; although I haven't run into any news yet about anyone using content from this site without our authorization (especially the music arrangement files that have been posted here so far), I still do my best to be on the lookout for any suspicious activity where this same stuff may be found that would raise the "red flag".

Which also brings us to here, because you can also be that extra "lookout" for me if you see this content on any other website that's been posted outside of here without our permission. I've posted more details on how you're able to report this information to me via this support topic on our forums (if you have a current forum account in good standing); however, if you don't have a forum account, you still can relay to me said information I need to take the necessary actions by sending me an email. Just remember to follow the guidelines on what is needed from you in this same post to file the report.

Thank you all in advance for assisting yours truly to ensure everyone adheres to said policies for these operations and to also hold any possible plagiarists accountable once they have been reported.

Music Arrangements Progress Update for "Super Mario Odyssey" (11/10/2018)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, November 10, 2018 - 09:44 AM

Okay, faithful friends and followers of these music operations - it may look and feel "dormant" on the frontend, but I can assure you with God as my witness, I'm still hard at work on the backend making progress regarding upcoming Super Nintendo music style arrangements targeting the score for the still insanely popular installment Super Mario Odyssey. And as I stated on the previous entries before this one, based on your votes/input from the recent Twitter polls that I have posted on our profile there (as well as checking out the "outlook" for my planbook on the backend side of things here), you can bet that all angles are telling me to focus on the current batch of Super Nintendo music style arrangements that I am working on which involve the songs from this said game.

And let me tell you that I am heeding those clues. As if our "Music Arrangements Progress Page" isn't evidence enough, in our Super Mario Odyssey row there, at this time, I currently have 8 files that are waiting to get "finalized" for posted as well as 3 files that I am working on as we speak. And there may be plans to get started laying the "foundation" of another target for the "tracker procedure" to complete this planned batch before the end of the year. It's been a crazy ride, just like the Super Mario Odyssey game itself, but I'm still enjoying every minute of it, that's for sure.

In the meantime as I'm working hard on making more progress on this upcoming batch of files, it's a good time to remind you all to don't forget about joining our forum portal and checking out the "Anticipation Topic" for upcoming arrangements targeting the Super Mario Odyssey score. Once again, as stated before, although it is not a request thread, this is to post what you all think what songs from that game I should be targeting because who knows... it might be the same ones that I have put in my planbook when I get them posted in due time!

That's it for now as I have to prepare to switch gears for the "weekend mode". But until then, take care until I see you again for the next entry, and let's continue to "do the Odyssey"! I'm gone for now.

November 2018 Greetings: The "Critical Months" Have Arrived; It's Crunch Time!

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, November 1, 2018 - 06:07 PM

No, my faithful friends and followers of these beloved music operations that I hold dear, you are not reading that blog entry title wrong. Welcome to November and the start of the critical "final two months" of the 2018 year. I am grateful that despite my not having Internet connections at my house for the past few days this week, I was still able to head to my school library's computer network to take care of getting our newest Super Nintendo music style arrangements targeting the Luigi's Mansion score out of the way before October concluded yesterday. The only question now as we begin this new month itself is this: what should be dealt with next as we prepare to get through "crunch time" in these final two months?

Of course, on the music arrangement process front, it seems that my planbook on the backend is apparently telling me (along with the recent polls that I did on our Twitter Portal area, as well as our progress page here on this site) to conclude along with your responses that I should see about honing in on trying to "step it up" on taking care of the upcoming batch of Super Nintendo music style arrangements that I've been targeting so far from the Super Mario Odyssey game. Although it still pains me that the other two games consisting of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and Mario Tennis Aces have been put on the backburner, this does not mean that I'm ignoring them either; they are still on the planbook. Additionally, I'm still waiting to hear from you all regarding what songs could be good candidates for me to target for Super Nintendo music style treatment procedures in relation to the recent Super Mario Party installment as well (if you haven't read the details regarding my needing your assistance on that matter, view this entry here; a link to the topic on our forums is also included in that post too).

Finally, details are still under lock and key, but it seems that the game plan this month is while also trying to take care of getting the latest upcoming Super Nintendo music style arrangements targeting the Super Mario Odyssey installment out the door before years end, I may also have to step it up in terms of getting a new critical "portal" set up as well. Without giving anything away, rumor has it that this place on the Internet is going to be playing a very crucial role into increasing traffic and interest for what I'm doing here to take the modern musical scores from Super Mario games (main and branched, even including the spinoff installments) and arranging them in the still very awesome Super Nintendo music style format. Research is nearly done regarding this upcoming area/portal for our operations overall, it's just trying to find the time to begin the "setup process" for it. I am keeping fingers crossed that we can see about snagging the chance to get it implement between these crucial "final two months". You'll definitely want to keep it here on this page (as well as watch our forumsIRC portalDiscord portal, and even our Twitter) to find out what I'm referring to when said new portal for our music operations goes live.

Until then, I'm out for now; take care until next entry, and let's get excited for what's to come for these "final two months" of 2018! See you all later.

New Music Arrangements Posted Targeting "Luigi's Mansion"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 - 05:48 PM

Happy Halloween to all of you, friends; and just in time before the "trick or treating" hours of this day arrive as well as despite an aggravating delay from the course of yesterday due to house Internet hotspot connection circumstances that I'm still trying to resolve at this time (no joke, I am writing this from my school library's computer system once more), we now have posted the first batch of Super Nintendo music style arrangements targeting the musical score of Luigi's Mansion.

The fact that this game in question was ported to the Nintendo 3DS from the Gamecube launch title of the same name has met our criteria to target the score for it to do the Super Nintendo music style arrangement process for it. Additionally, the majority of new arrangements from this "starting batch" also now feature a new music instrument set for our operation endeavors: Super Ghouls 'n' Ghosts (developed and published by Capcom, Mari Yamaguchi being the composer). You'll see why I had to get after this set as you check out the arrangements I did targeting the "main theme" songs (both "mansion interior" and "mansion exterior" versions).

As for the five arrangement files themselves in question for this "starting batch", they are the following:

Training Room (Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge Arrangement)
Main Theme (Mansion Interior) (Super Ghouls 'n' Ghosts Arrangement)
Main Theme (Mansion Exterior) (Super Ghouls 'n' Ghosts Arrangement)
Area Boss Fight - Peace Returns (Super Ghouls 'n' Ghosts Arrangement)
Staff Credits (Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge Arrangement)

As always, if you have any problems with accessing these files in question, please don't hesitate to contact me via email correspondenceforumsIRC portal, or our Discord portal. Take care, everyone, and you all be safe in your Halloween festivities tonight. I'm out.
