October 2018 Greetings: Three Months Remain; Where We Stand Now
Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, October 1, 2018 - 04:19 PM
All right, everyone, welcome to October and the second of the "final four months" of this current year of 2018. As I stated in the entry that I posted over the latter part of the previous week, it has been very turbulent like heck with the server related stuff that I had to deal with plus that recent Nintendo Direct posting to boot. Hopefully this month I can get back into my Super Nintendo music style arrangement groove in general.
And here's why: in just a short while from now, we are going to be encountering the releases for Super Mario Party for the Nintendo Switch console and Luigi's Mansion for the Nintendo 3DS console. On those days (and of course, to follow through with our policies of getting the composer information to get the green light on these two games), I will finally get those answers to see if there are possible song candidates waiting to be targeted (there might be some in the case of the Luigi's Mansion game; however, I have to investigate further into the Super Mario Party game itself before I reach any final verdicts there).
Not only that, but as stated earlier, I'm trying my best to get back in the music arrangement grovoe to clear out a very huge backlog staring me in the face. And my looking at the statuses on this page doesn't help either because I'm also hoping to change the numbers on what's listed there involving targeting musical stuff related to Super Mario Odyssey, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, and Mario Tennis Aces. But rumor has it that more might join that list in due time; God only knows. But one thing's for certain: I'm still determined to get all of this done.
As always, make sure to keep it here for any newest happenings as they occur. And once again, please don't forget to see about joining us on the forums and creating your account there; additionally, you'll be able to still interact with us regarding any questions and such you may have on our Twitter account, IRC channel, and Discord portal as well.
Thanks in advance for your patience in all of this, everyone, as we formally start this month of October. I have to head out for now; until then, see you folks later. Let's keep fingers crossed for the best.

Quick Reminder of our Music Operation's Forum, IRC, and Discord Portals
Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, September 29, 2018 - 09:26 PM
Although yours truly is currently in the "weekend mode" at this time, this is now a good moment to remind you all that we're still inviting all you faithful Super Nintendo music style arrangement enthusiasts (who are also fans of Nintendo's Super Mario video game series as a whole) to definitely interact with us at our community portals. The site forums still remain the primary place for you followers to get together with myself and others to discuss the music operation happenings here (and you are encouraged to create your account at that part of our site by going to this page). Additionally, we're still in need of more members to join us at our music operation's IRC Portal and Discord Portal as well (and don't forget to also follow us on Twitter).
On a related note about recent forum activity as of late, as was posted in a forum announcement here, we've been getting some illegitimate registrations at certain times as of late. Not only that, based on the "behavior" of those accounts when I check details from the Admin CP backend, it loks like they have been actually made by bots, which is definitely inexcuseable. Please note that if it is found that the account created is actually from a bot, the accounts will be deleted and said usernames/email addresses used will be placed on a "block list" preventing them from creating any new accounts. We're only looking for honest and genuine followers to register their accounts with us on the forums, and it's just a waste of time having to log into the forum's Admin CP to do this "pruning process". We appreciate your understanding of this matter and as always, look forward to interacting with you all with all of these portals listed including the forum portal itself. Take care, all.

Site/Forum Backup In Progress / Preparing for October
Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, September 28, 2018 - 04:48 PM
Okay, friends; two things that I need to address at this time.
First, due to the recent URL subdomain change that occured one to two days ago from our web hosting server adminstration, I am currently doing a full website/forums backup at this time (which also includes the forum database as well) before calling it a week and making preparations to switch gears into "weekend mode" in just a few hours from now.
This is to ensure that the backup that we have for this "home base website" of our music operations here is definitely up to date, especially after these recent events.
Second, the backup process being done here is to also finalize preparations for the upcoming month of October in a few days from now. My Super Nintendo music style arrangement groove has slowed down thanks to said happenings that occured during the latter part of this month, but hopefully, I should be back to trying to clear a very huge backlog of stuff targeting certain Mario games like Super Mario Odyssey, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Mario Tennis Aces, and a few others. Additionally, in just about one week from now, we will be witnessing the release of Super Mario Party for the Nintendo Switch console, so I will definitely be on the lookout for if there are definte candidates I can go after for the "music arrangement treatment process".
Once again, everyone, I definitely thank you all for your patience in all of these matters; take care, have a great weekend after this posting, and I'll see you all again for our formal "monthly greetings entry" as we officially start the month of October soon after this coming weekend is in the history books. I'm out.

IMPORTANT: Site URL Subdomain Changed, Please Update Your Bookmarks (Plus Other Related Things)
Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, September 27, 2018 - 03:00 PM
The subdomain change was officially made during the course of yesterday, but I just snagged the chance to make the "formal announcement" about this matter today.
As the entry title above states, as of this posting, the site URL has now been changed to http://mc-mmg-homebase.vimlyhost.com due to our receiving correspondence from the VimlyHost administration citing support issues/communication failure with their previous providers regarding domain services for customers like us using the VimlyNet site hosting services.
Additionally, as a result of this subdomain change, the support email addresses for our music operations have changed as well. That means that if you send us any inquiries from this form for issues regarding the main site itself or this form for any issues with the forums, please make sure to update your email account's whitelists to accept any correspondence from us without any problems:
MAIN WEBSITE INQUIRIES: mailroom AT mc-mmg-homebase DOT vimlyhost DOT com FORUM PORTAL INQUIRIES: forummail AT mc-mmg-homebase DOT vimlyhost DOT com Thanks in advance for your cooperation with this, and once again, we apologize for any inconveniences that this may have cause you all. I'm out for now.
