Where Things Stand on Upcoming "Mario Kart World" Music Arrangement Stuff (As Of 6/18/2025)

Good evening, faithful friends/followers/listeners of these beloved music operations as a whole; finally snagged the chance to see about writing this quick article to let you know where things stand in regards to our starting Super Nintendo music styled arrangement efforts focused on songs from the recently released (and beyond popular) Mario Kart World installment for Nintendo's all-new "Nintendo Switch 2" console, that was also recently released onto store shelves worldwide, already breaking sales records, and for very obvious reasons.

First and foremost, as you can see in the below image (which is also a snapshot from our "Music Arrangements Progress Page"), music arrangement procedures targeting songs from Mario Kart World have already begun in earnest since two Thursdays ago this month; as of the date and time of this article's posting, there are five upcoming music arrangement files currently on standby to be finalized and posted that will implement the upcoming page for this site housing the Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers related to Mario Kart World. At this time, I'm still currently checking my planbook to see if I can try to add a few more, but this one thing is certain - sooner or later, I definitely want to make sure that we get the upcoming Mario Kart World game page for this site as soon as my overall schedule and planbook allows it in the weeks and months ahead, so stay tuned for further developments on this in the near future.


Second thing to mention at this time regarding our music cover efforts targeting songs from Mario Kart World: although details are still under lock and key in regards to what songs I'm currently targeting for our "starter set" of covers to implement the upcoming page for this site, we can say that at the current moment, we are focusing on the course theme songs that are definitely new to the said game. I'll be elaborating on the reasons why in our upcoming "anniversary statement document" for 2025 (yes, it's still on my to-do list; real life situations have still been getting in my way as I'm writing this!), but as many of you might be already more than aware, this game's overall musical score has been hit with a barrage of songs giving shoutouts to certain courses from past "Mario Kart" installments prior to this one, and apparently it's having my planbook telling me that we might have to approach those kind of songs a little bit differently should I get any music arrangement cover ideas from them. I'm still doing more investigations about that matter in regards to what would be the best course of action for when I do those kind of music covers; once the time comes (and if any covers of the so-called "throwback/retro courses" theme songs are done), I'll let you all know in a future post about what will be the planbook for that kind of content down the road.
