Working On Getting More "Previous Content" Back
Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 - 09:00 PM
As of the date and time of this writing, everyone (and nearly one week after I am still trying to recover from the E3 2018 happenings), I'm currently dealing with getting back to getting more stuff restored from the previous "main website". Because of some other obligations that I've been dealing with outside of this place, it's been slow going; however, I can assure you that it's still yet one step closer to getting everything for these operations back to normal.
The situation is this: before this coming weekend arrives, I'm trying to see about getting our "Instrument Set Clarifications" content restored (which will be housed in our "Other Stuff" section under Extras). To remind everyone what this is all about: if you have read certain entries on our previous site layout, this is where I attempt to clarify what certain Super Nintendo games instrument set wise I have been targeting to avoid confusion since during the actual SNES gameplay days in the early 1990s, there have been many game "versions"/"installments" under certain "series". Not only that, there have been times that there have been games done for other systems under that same series... not to mention that sometimes, some games were done by different companies! But I'll spare the rest of the details after this point.
On a side note: all of you faithful followers/listeners keep on praying for me as I still keep on fighting to get these operations back to how they used to be ever since our "turbulent adversarial challenges" from last year. Hopefully I can see about attempting to get our site's Forum Portal back in action after this. Stay tuned, everyone; I'm out.

New Section Added: "Music Arrangements Outlook"!
Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, June 16, 2018 - 02:46 PM
Last year, the "adversarial forces" threw major wrenches against me after the E3 2017 happenings came to a close which prevented me from writing a "music arrangements outlook" post during that time (and messed everything else up music operations wise as well as on the "personal end"). But with God as my witness, that's not happening this go 'round!
That's right, everyone: our "Music Arrangements Outlook" postings section is back on our website right now! If you all can remember from past years, this is where I usually share if any Super Mario (and branched) videogame installments have any potential for me to target certain scores for preparation of doing Super Nintendo music style arrangements of them down the road when the games themselves get released weeks or months after they've been featured at the Electronic Entertainment Expo event itself.
This time around, the Mario installments that were featured at the E3 2018 event itself include the soon to be released Mario Tennis Aces and the just announced Super Mario Party (both for the Nintendo Switch console). To find out what "priority statuses" these two games fall under my "music arrangements outlook" in the weeks and months ahead, you can read the dedicated posting here. A bit of a forewarning: prepare for a long read, but I assure you, it's still worth the explanation for this said "outlook" I have here.
That's it for now, everyone; have a great rest of your weekend. I'm out for now.

We're In Action Now On Our New Server Host!
Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, June 15, 2018 - 10:30 PM
All right, friends, if you are reading this message, then you have arrived at our "home base website" on our newest hosting server with the folks at 000webhost. I am happy to say that we were finally able to see about getting this out of the way during the E3 2018 week, and just in time before the coming weekend.
But here are a few things that you need to know about:
(1) The "Forum Portal" area of our site is still closed at this time. Because of the "setup" of this server host (and also because of my not having additional available time to get the forums uploaded to our site), I'm still trying to investigate some stuff; hopefully, we can get this part of the site in action as well during the course of next week. The URL to the forums will not be changed, of course; the only difference will be the URL naming itself, which will be explained later.
(2) Our email address has now changed as of the date and time of this posting. We are planning to see about canceling our account with the previous host that we have moved out from. Any replies from us in terms of email inquiries received will come from mc_mmg_mailroom AT aol DOT com. Please make sure to update your email address books accordingly (and while you're at it, make sure to also update your site bookmarks to http://mc-mmg-homebase.000webhostapp.com as well).
Also, you may have noticed that this site host has "branded" each of our pages with their link to their webhosting services main page. This is because we are currently under a "free account" with them. Hopefully as the months forge ahead, I'll see about getting funds together to implement a "paid subscription" plan to remove it; however, I doubt this should interfere with our pages here on this site that much.
With all that said, it's time for me to get into "weekend mode" (starting with some much needed rest, it's been a very insane week which was only made tougher because of the E3 2018 happenings that ended one to two days ago). But I will see about snagging the time during the course of this weekend to do the annual "Music Arrangements Outlook" posting that I've been doing for every E3 event to share which Super Mario (and branched) installments have a possible potential for me to target musical scores from those games to do Super Nintendo music style arrangements for. Watch for it soon. Until then, I'm out for now.

Forum Portal Section Temporarily Closed
Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, June 8, 2018 - 04:51 PM
Due to our making preparations to find a new website hosting candidate at this time and do a "site move" to the new account that we create for it once the final decision has been made, the "forum portal" section of our home base website is temporarily closed at this time.
Once again, during the course of this coming weekend, I'll see about trying to find time to find that new "website host candidate" in question in hopes that we can get a new account created for it before the new work week arrives (which just also happens to be the E3 2018 week as well). When the decision has been made and the account gets created for us to transfer our materials over to the new host, I'll see about trying to snag the chance to take care of the site transfer itself during the course of Monday before the E3 2018 event happenings happen full force this coming Tuesday morning.
In the meantime, for those of you who were interested in creating a forum account when we have situated ourselves on our new site host and get that section opened up again, you can send me an email from this form letting me know; then I'll get back with you folks to give you all a heads-up that the place is ready again for new registrations.
Many apologies for this inconvenience; we appreciate your patience on the matter. Take care, all.
