Upcoming Music Arrangements Progress Report as of 7/25/2020
Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, July 25, 2020 - 10:34 AM
Oh my word, has it been nearly less than one month since my previous blog entry post regarding where things stand on new music arrangement target progress so far? Well, I've finally snagged this chance to get you faithful friends/followers updated.
On the backend side of things: slowly, but surely, I'm chipping away at my planbook's backlog (minus the "finalization process" which I still need to find a breakthrough solution for so I can see about getting back to getting these new Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers posted for these operations for you all to check out; I know that in general, there's been a literal drought of this stuff ever since mid-March when the "coronavirus pandemic" started to throw a wrench in everybody's plans, including mine). As what was previously discussed on this entry last month, I've been working on a variety of targets that involve music scores from Mario Sports Superstars, Paper Mario: Color Splash, Mario Tennis Open, Mario Kart 8 / Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, alongisde a few others. But thanks to a recent game release from last Friday, as well as leads from my "sources", if you have noticed from our "Music Arrangements Progress Page" recently, you'll see that a certain installment has already hit out "standby list" for upcoming Super Nintendo music style covers to get finalized targeting the score for that game - Paper Mario: The Origami King.
Here's the situation: as I have also stated in previous entries, although I have been working on certain targets that involve the Paper Mario: The Origami King score, there's still no ETA in regards to when I'll be able to show to you a "starter set" of stuff that I've been working on there. I'm trying to see about clearing the ever growing backlog of other installments in my planbbok before this one; however, I am keeping fingers crossed that we can see about getting my Paper Mario: The Origami King music arrangement stuff shared with you all before this year is out because this one thing is very clear: the musical score itself for the aformentioned installment is definitely not to be ignored by any means. And I'm very optimistic that when the time comes, you'll all enjoy the Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers that I've been working on to share for these operations, so stay tuned for any new developments regarding this matter.
Until then, that's all that I have to share as we slowly approach closing out this portion of the "summer months period". Take care until my next entry, and all of you continue to stay safe and keep well. I'm gone for now.

Release Day for "Paper Mario: The Origami King"
Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, July 17, 2020 - 08:44 AM
All right, everyone; as you all should be more than aware by now, today is the "release day" for Paper Mario: The Origami King for Nintendo Switch. As I said in this entry one to two months ago when Nintendo announced this game was in the works, I currently have the installment on my radar for possible Super Nintendo music style arrangement candidates as the months forge ahead.
However, I won't be able to see about finding said candidates until I have made substantial progress in clearing the current backlog that I have at this time which as you all also already know has slowed down to a crawl thanks to this horrifying pandemic. But make no mistake, from what I have heard so far from the music front in regards to Paper Mario: The Origami King, this is not to be ignored by any means.
As always, keep it bookmarked on this front page (and all other existing "social media portals" that we have for these music operations) for any new music arrangement developments that may come regarding this latest installment in the Paper Mario family of this series. Take care, all!

Twitter and Discord Portals: Plan For Processing New Follower/Member Requests Received During the July 4th Holiday Weekend
Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, July 2, 2020 - 08:36 PM
Heads-up to those of you who have an interest in following us on Twitter or want to be a member of our server on Discord:
As you may be aware, in just a few hours from now, we are going to be approaching a "three day holiday weekend" - more specifically, the July 4th weekend itself. So here's the plan: any new requests that have been submitted to us during the course of 7/3/'20 - 7/5/'20 will be reviewed for approval/denial procedures come Monday (7/6/'20). Yours truly needs this time to enjoy the July 4th weekend itself as well, but that doesn't mean that I'm forgetting you all either. Your understanding is greatly appreciated in advance as we take the time to give our ultimate birthday shoutouts to the greatest country on God's green earth.
On a side note, if you also have an account on SoundCloud, don't forget to follow us here as well; we're closing in on getting to the 100 followers mark over there. It sure did take a while, yes, but it does prove there are Super Nintendo music style fans out there too (we just have to see about getting them to join the above "social media portals" as well, including our IRC channel on EsperNet, and last, but not least, the soon to return "Forum Portal" as well).
Once again, thanks for your patience in advance as we see about getting through this holiday weekend, and I'll see you all come the course of next week. Stay safe and healthy, all!

July 2020 Greetings: The "Summer Months" Continue / Still Making Progress On The Backlog and Searching for "Breakthroughs"
Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, July 2, 2020 - 08:12 PM
As we now start to officially start the "second half" of the 2020 year (and continue to forge on through the "summer months" period), I still wanted to snag this chance to do this formal monthly greetings to touch on what's been going on so far on the music operations' backend while keeping it short; I just came back home from doing a huge batch of errands and need to seriously rejuvenate for what lies ahead for the next few weeks.
First, as I stated in previous entries, I've apparently been "full speed ahead" at trying my best to snag space in my schedule to clear my planbook's music arrangement targets backlog. Recently, the focus has been in terms of trying to make progress on two upcoming featured installments for these operations (which are Paper Mario: Color Splash and Mario Sports Superstars). And I'm still reviewing stuff on my end to see what else I can see about progressing on based on this page as well. And as you can tell, there are a lot that I'm dealing with. But I'm determined to make it through this, despite the horrifying "coronavirus pandemic" that's been clogging everyone's routines, including mine.
Which brings me to the second thing I wanted to address: the "phase 2" progress of finalizing completed upcoming music arrangement stuff. As I am writing this, I'm still hard at work trying to find alternative options so I can see about starting to finalizing stuff that's been in the queue for months waiting for me to share with all of you faithful listeners/supporters of these operations. I know that many of you are asking when in God's name I'll get back in this part of the groove. It will be soon, but there are still no guarantees on this; you'll have to be patient with me. But I will defintiely keep you folks posted on any new developments that occur, especially if I run into any possible breakthroughs that will allow me to make much need progress on the backlog clearing.
Finally, the "community angles". I know that I've said this many times - even though I'm just one person running this huge operations for ten years (going on eleven in about six to seven months), it's still absolutely nothing without all of you keeping tabs on any new happenings here and interacting with myself and others whether it be our Twitter profile, SoundCloud profile, IRC, or even our Discord. And I still haven't forgotten about trying to snag time to finally get the actual site forums back in action again (because I still tend for that to be our primary "community setting" for you faithful followers/listeners of these music operations). Once again, your patience is still greatly appreciated as we continue to fight through these roadblocks together; my only hopes is that for the Forum Portal side of things, we can finally get it back in action before the 2020 year is out. In the meantime, our Twitter Portal and Discord Portal still need new followers, so please don't hesitate to go here and submit a follower request on Twitter, or go and fill out this form to request a temporary invite link to access our server on Discord. Keep in mind that I still have to manually approve each new request received during the Monday - Friday timeframe (barring major holidays); but I'll see about addressing that in another post since we're about to close in on a "holiday weekend" in just a few hours from now.
Until then, I have to end this entry here. All of you please continue to stay safe and keep on supporting this beloved mission of mine which is to do awesome Super Nintendo music style covers of modern game tunes from Nintendo's Super Mario game series (main and branched installments)! I'm out for now, see you all later.
