OFFICIAL NOTICE: All Files That Were Housed On Our "SaberCast Host" Account Now Deleted

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, November 11, 2019 - 09:16 AM

This blog entry is to give official confirmation that as of the date and time of this posting, all of our music operation's files that were housed under our former external file host (which would be SaberCat Host) have been deleted permanently; this means once again that any file links that were posted in general blog entries (and other specified pages) on this site that posted to said former file hosting account are now null and void. As what was stated in the previous entry before this one, if you're looking for certain existing Super Nintendo music style arrangements that have been posted for these operations so far, it's highly suggested that you start here first.

With that said, I am still hoping that during the course of this week, I can check through the previous blog entries that were posted on this site under our "Music File Additions/Updates" category and update the file links accordingly to point to our newest (and current) external file hosting account with the folks at MEGA. Just remember to make sure that you're using a browser that's compatible with accessing our files there (as stated in the latter part of this entry from 9/31/'19).

Thanks once again to you all for the patience that you had to endure with us as I had to deal with getting this situation resolved in a timely fashion after we got news of our other former external file host (which was Instaudio) announcing their shutdown that actually occured back in late September of this year. Hopefully we won't have to deal with this same kind of case for quite a while. I'm gone for now.

Reminder: Music Files From The Former "SaberCat Hosting" External Account Being Taken Down

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 - 03:20 PM

Finally snagged the chance to start taking care of this thing on our music operation's "to do list"; this is still a quick reminder to you all that we've started to delete the music files that we've had on our former file host (which would be SaberCat Hosting) due to complaints that we've received regarding access to the files there as well as additional inconvenient roadblocks you folks have been experiencing from that angle.

This should go without repeating, but has to be reiterated that any former blog entries that linked to files that were hosted on the SaberCat file hosting server will now be null and void. We've managed to take down the majority of them from there today and will be dealing with the rest during the course of tomorrow.

If you run into that scenario regarding previous blog entries that linked to files from our former SaberCat Hosting account, it's highly recommended to go to this page on our site and search for the files in question that you're looking for. We appreciate your understanding in advance.

New Game Page Added: "Mario Kart Tour"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 - 02:03 PM

Friends, I am very pleased to announce that the extreme drought regarding new Super Nintendo music arrangements from yours truly covering modern Super Mario and branched videogame installments is now finally over as of the date and time of this posting.

As the title states (along with the corresponding image attached), we now have our very first Super Nintendo music style arrangement posted targeting a song from the latest Mario Kart installment - Mario Kart Tour (done for iOS and Android mobile devices). This is also our very first featured game page for our music operations targeting songs done for Super Mario installments (main and branched) for play on iOS/Android devices.

As for the targeted song in question: it was actually first featured as a "personal favorite" of mine on our related SoundCloud account (because when it was posted there, this site itself was still down). This newest music arrangement from yours truly covers the song for Mario Kart Tour's "Tokyo Blur" course (using the instrument set done for Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge). But there wasn't an option for you folks to download said tune itself from the SoundCloud posting itself... that was, until now. You're now able to go to this page and click on the related file link there to do the download process from our external file hosting account with MEGA.

And on a side note: there might be another upcoming game page joining these operations as well... possibly within the next few days after I get a certain set of files finalized for posting there too. You won't want to miss this, all! Until then, take care for now; I'll see you all later.

Quick Reminder About Our "Social Media Portals"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Sunday, November 3, 2019 - 02:49 PM

As the blog entry title states, this is a quick and friendly reminder to you all that our "social media portals" for these music operations still exist, albeit that a few have had some extra "security measures" put in place since a few months ago as a result of known abuse.

The top two "social media portals" so far which we've had to place new security measures on have been our related Twitter account and our Discord server to ensure only legitimate followers of what we're doing here can gain access to these two areas. For access to our profile page on Twitter, if you wish to follow us there, just go to this page and submit a follower request. For access to our Discord server, you can request a "temporary invite link" by filling out this form. Bear in mind that every access request receive is subject to screening for apparent approval or denial based on certain criteria; this usually takes between 24 - 48 hours upon submission.

The other two portals that you're able to see about interacting with us is on our IRC channel (on EsperNet), and our SoundCloud page (where "personal favorites" are posted there).

Bottom line on all of this: you awesome people do not want to miss out on what we have to share on all these angles between now and the end of December including when new Super Nintendo music style arrangements for these operations get posted. As always, I look forward to speaking with you all via these aformentioned "social media portals"; take care for now.
