SoundCloud Account Reminder/Our Activity Plans for the Upcoming Thanksgiving Weekend
Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 - 09:29 AM
Two things that I need to address to you all this morning before I prepare to deal with my business for the day outside of these operations:
First, just a friendly reminder that even though there hasn't been any activity from yours truly regarding our music operation's SoundCloud account, I'm still checking it from time to time regarding activity from the listener end. And you folks over there are still liking and occasionally reposting certain "personal favorites" that I have featured there on our account so far, and I definitely thank you for supporting me and my operations on that end. I'm still trying to get funding together so that I can get the chance to upgrade the account and finally add some more timespace so more "personal favorites" can get added. Additionally, I've been slightly doing some maintenance on the backend to make sure our account details there are up to date ensuring that our main links on the profile page point to the right places because the postings themselves still point to previous URLs of our "home base website" (and forums). So remember, defintely make sure to check the profile page itself first for the right links to this site and other respective places in relation to our operations overall here.
Second, in my area where I am writing this, we're just one day away until the "Thanksgiving Weekend" officially starts here in the States, and yours truly is definitely looking forward to it. So when tomorrow arrives, I'll be in the "weekend mode" to focus on the Thanksgiving happenings themselves with family and friends. Additionally, I'll be starting to deal with new "work obligations" the day after that (mainly during the Friday/Saturday timeframes for the next few weeks, possibly up until February 2019), so I definitely need to prepare to get used to that new part of my routine so I'll get accustomed with the adjustments; be praying for me there.
Besides all that stated above, after dealing with recovering from those activities and church on this coming weekend, I'm hoping to resume making more progress on the remaining two Super Nintendo music style arrangement targets involving music from Super Mario Odyssey. I am still hoping to get all twelve SMO music targets that I've had in my planbook (once again, according to this page) finalized and posted before the end of this month because I still believe you all will love this latest batch of stuff that I've been working on for a few weeks now. Stay tuned on that angle.
Until then, it's time for me to switch gears now and step out. But remember, you'll still be able to reach me with your inquiries via email; also, don't forget about interacting with me (and other fans/followers of these operations) via forums, Twitter, IRC, and Discord.
Thanks again for your support of these operations (along with yours truly who's still been maintaining this thing), and once more, for those of you viewing this entry in the States, you all have a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend in advance and make the most of it during the course of Thursday morning/afternoon/evening (whenever you have your scheduled big dinner; just make sure to have your fixings in moderation!). See you all afterwards; I'm gone.

Music Arrangements Progress Update for "Super Mario Odyssey" (11/17/2018)
Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, November 17, 2018 - 12:13 PM
All right, friends - for those of you out there who are still eager to know how the music arrangement progress is coming along targeting more songs from the Super Mario Odyssey game, here's where things stand.
And the news is this: on the process end, I'm getting close to the "finish line" regarding the latest upcoming batch of Super Nintendo music style arrangements targeting the score of this game. According to our progress page, 10 files are "on standby" to get finalized and 2 just remain to get the "tracker procedure" dealt with. Although I'm currently in the "weekend mode" at this time, I'm hoping to snag the chance to see about making progress on the remaining two song targets so all that I can worry about is getting the 12 overall targets in "finalization territory" and posted, hopefully before the end of the month.
I can assure you that I believe you'll also enjoy the latest batch of Super Mario Odyssey song targets I've been giving the Super Nintendo music style arrangement treatment for when they all get posted. After that, I believe I seriously need to focus on working on getting the upcoming "portal" for these operations in action before the end of this year, but that's another story altogether.
As always, I'll keep you posted on all angles, especially when I'm getting close on when all targeted files in the upcoming batch are in the "finalization" point because then they're one step closer to getting out the door; believe me, I cannot wait for that day to arrive as well. Until then, stay positive until the next entry from yours truly, and have a great rest of your weekend, everyone! I'm out.

"Music File Statistics" Document Taken Offline for Quick Maintenance (UPDATE: Maintenance Done; Document Back Online)
Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, November 16, 2018 - 10:49 AM
Been doing some site maintenance on the backend; however, while doing so, I accidentally reverted the "Music File Statistics" document to a previous update that was done before I added the Super Nintendo music style arrangements that I did featuring the score of Luigi's Mansion (if you haven't seen that posting yet, you're able to view it and get the available files here).
At this time, although I have the previous file itself that I've saved to my flash drive for reuploading to the site later today, the current document itself has been temporarily taken offline for the time being. Once again, I'm hoping to get this problem resolved before the end of today; apologies to everyone for any inconveniences this may have caused if you were trying to access said "Music File Statistics" at this time.
I'll give you all a heads-up on when this said document comes back online. Stay tuned.
UPDATE (11/16/'18, 8:34 P.M. (CST)) - The "Music File Statistics" document file maintenance has now been completed and is back online; you're able to access it here once again. Please note that the recent "update" to the file itself is still October 31, 2018 (as a result to the addition of the first batch of Super Nintendo music style arrangement files targeting the score of Luigi's Mansion).

Shoutout to the Late Stan Lee (1922 - 2018)

A few days late on this, but I finally snagged the chance for us to do our quick shoutout to one of the comic creator legends who has definitely made an impact on respective communities... the late Stan Lee, co-founder of Marvel Comics.
The person in said above picture has been the brainchild of many superhero characters created under the Marvel brand; two of those said "superhero" franchises from that same brand over time have gotten the videogame treatment on occasion. The most noteable game installment in relation to our using the respective Super Nintendo music instrument set for doing my arrangements here involving those two said "franchises" featured Spider-Man and the X-Men. And yes, you guessed it, I'm referring to one of my personal favorite Super Nintendo games on the music front, Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge (especially on the music instrument set end; Geoff Follin and Tim Follin were responsible for creating this set and the score itself for said game there).
This is also to let you know that an upcoming "tribute arrangement" is being planned soon targeting a song from a Mario game installment; details are still under lock and key, but when posted, I'll obviously make sure to note that this will be in memory and our giving thanks to Stan Lee's contributions because if it wasn't for his creating the Spider-Man and X-Men characters in his comic books, the Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge game itself wouldn't have existed at all back in the early 1990s.
Stay tuned for more developments on this matter, everyone.
