Extras - Other Stuff - Special Tributes - "Mario Kart Arcade GP DX - Staff Credits"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, December 13, 2018 - 11:36 AM

This newest Super Nintendo music styled arrangement that I have just completed and posted to share with you all (targeting the "staff credits" music of Mario Kart Arcade GP DX) is not only because of my planning to make this the final addition of these operations of the 2018 year, but because the styling of this song itself from that game as well as the instrument set I chose to do the "tracker process" on the backend for this Super Nintendo music style cover of the song has a special reasoning behind it.

A few months ago, after hearing news about the passing of the late Stan Lee (co-founder of Marvel Comics, pictured above), I knew that I had to see about getting my cover of this "staff credits" song itself from Mario Kart Arcade GP DX done as soon as I could possibly do so. And my choosing the instrument set created for the Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge game (as done by Geoff and Tim Follin on both the instruments and the score itself for it) was an immediate match because the late Stan Lee himself was also well known as the creator of the Spider-Man and X-Men characters for the Marvel Comics brand; over time when the Super Nintendo console was in full action during the 1990s, those same specified characters had been featured in "lead roles" for the specified Super Nintendo game in question in which the Follins did an outstanding musical score for it on all angles.

As for my using the Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge instrument set itself for this specified music arrangement posting in question, you'll see why I wasted no time in making sure that it was involved in doing this cover of the targeted "staff credits" song from Mario Kart Arcade GP DX by checking out the said music file in question here.

This is our way of saying a heartfelt "THANK YOU" to the late Stan Lee who is now with the Lord as we speak; I'm sure that we're all in agreement that his contributions to the respective communities formed under him including the Marvel Comics community will not be forgotten even after his passing. We salute you, sir.
