Music Arrangements Outlook - "Mario Kart World" Direct (4/17/'25)

Many apologies for the delay in getting this latest "Music Arrangement Outlook" article written up, everyone; but as you can tell, I was still determined to make sure that this was especially taken care of before month's end for certain.

As this article's title already states, the focus this time around is targeting this recent Nintendo Direct presentation that was posted a few weeks ago disclosing the major details regarding the upcoming Mario Kart World installment for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console, both slated for release on 6/5/2025. 

Here's the story in regards to Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers that I've done for these operations which involve stuff from Mario Kart titles ever since the Nintendo Wii / Nintendo WiiU / Nintendo 3DS days - it has always been a very big deal for yours truly when the opportunities present itself to find those song candidates for my planbook to make those music arrangement cover attempts for these operations as a whole without any regrets. 

When release day comes for Mario Kart World in just a little over one month from now (along with the Nintendo Switch 2), the hype to attempt doing Super Nintendo music styled arrangements covers of certain songs from this upcoming installment will be no different. From some of the involved songs excerpts that I carefully reviewed from this same video, it looks like planbook wise when we start to do SNES music styled arrangement covers down the road, not only is our planbook going to get rocked, but could it surpass all those Mario Kart music covers we did related to songs from games including (but not limited to): Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart 8 / Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, or even those arcade game installments?! (Although we're aware that as the date and time of this article's posting, from viewing this page, the Mario Kart 8 / Mario Kart 8 Deluxe page is currently in the lead with 21 music covers done, followed by Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart Tour. God only knows if over time after Mario Kart World's release will the number of planned covers overtake the other featured Mario Kart games as mentioned above).

Bottom line: definitely stay tuned after the 6/5/2025 release date for Mario Kart World; but according to preparations for finding covers to list in my planbook, we're declaring a "MEDIUM TO HIGH PRIORITY" on this one, without a doubt. As for how we'll approach doing new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers focused on songs from this upcoming installment in question, we'll announce more details on that another time.
