Music Arrangements Outook - Nintendo Direct (2/8/'23): "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe" - Booster Course Pass
Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, February 23, 2023 - 04:56 PM
Hi there, friends; many apologies for the huge delay in this latest "Music Arrangements Outlook" article (you all know the reasons why from past blog entry posts that I have made for this home base website of these music operations as a whole that I don't need to repeat again). So as you all are very much aware, a few weeks back, the Nintendo company as a whole posted their latest "Nintendo Direct" presentation letting us know about what's coming down the road for this year's first half.
Unfortunately, the sad news I have to share was that only one Mario game installment was featured in the presentation (but still better than nothing, so I'm obviously not complaining). But the real question is has the "music arrangement outlook status" changed for the one featured game in question since the last time I brought it up in a previous article? Let's find out.
So that one featured Mario game installment shown in the recent "Nintendo Direct" presentation was once again focused on the "Booster Course Pass" paid DLC stuff for the Nintendo Switch game Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. So after carefully reviewing the stuff regarding the latest news for it, the "priority status" has not changed (it is still a "LOW PRIORITY" because of my still trying opportunities to clear this super annoying backlog staring me in the face); however, rumor has it that as I take a closer look at the courses featured in the "Booster Course Pass" DLC angle of this installment, I might be getting a slightly clearer idea of how I'm going to approach some featured course songs. Details on this are still under lock and key because I'm still in the "research phase" on it, but if certain clues from available courses so far are any indicator, it looks like they might be attempting to mess with how I've been doing my Super Nintendo music styled cover process (here's a hint: some of the featured courses were originally from Mario Kart installments prior to Mario Kart Wii; this tells me that I might have to prepare to approach that stuff a little bit different like my other covers if I do attempt the process on them).
Long story short on this one: the "priority" on it is still a "LOW PRIORITY"; but I'm having to include "APPROACH WITH CAUTION" due to the fact that this "Booster Course Pass" stuff is an entirely different cases, especially since certain featured courses prior to Mario Kart Wii are involved (since they're outside our music operations target scope, but their being involved in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe makes this a very special exception).
And that's about it for this "Music Arrangements Outlook" article focused on the recent Nintendo Direct presentation earlier this month. Here's hoping that as the months progress, we'll hear news of more new Mario game installments down the road so we can do "priority statuses" on them as well regarding Super Nintendo music styled arrangement planning potential. See you all later; thanks for reading.
