"Mario Kart World": It's "Rainbow Road" Time! (On The Music Arrangement Covers Front, That Is)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 - 01:36 PM

No, awesome people and faithful friends/followers/listeners of these music operations as a whole, you are not reading that wrong. After weeks and weeks of obstacles and such, along with after a little over one month since this aforementioned game page got put into play for this site housing our Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers targeting the more than insanely addictive score of Mario Kart World for the Nintendo Switch 2, we can finally add these newest song covers to the mix, and it's all targeting that critical final course which is an icon all its on in every Mario Kart installment to date: Rainbow Road!

As many of you already know, in the case of the Mario Kart World gameplay process, especially in regards to the main "Grand Prix" mode procedure wise, this "final course" itself is divided into five sections - which starts from when players are at the "starting gate" after the run through Peach Stadium (serving as the "pathway/gateway/route connection") - first section. Afterwards, it's onward to the Rainbow Road course itself, which is divided into four sections there (as shown in these pictures below, featuring the Mario girls in their attempts on this very special course).

Make no mistake, I'm sure all of us are in agreement that in regards to the overall course layout as well as the musical theme for it, the Nintendo developers literally went all out on it like heck from beginning to end. And of course, we can blame the musical score composers for ensuring that all five "songs" heard for this course will be forever etched in our minds because it's just that quadruple addictive to listen to both during gameplay and outside of it as well.

And on the Super Nintendo music style arrangement front of this thing, yours truly definitely made sure to give all five "sections/themes" of this aforementioned "Rainbow Road" course justice, even though it still pales in comparison to hearing the original song(s) themselves from the game. A brief tidbit - prior to beginning the process of doing the backend work of these song covers in question, I was battling between two Super Nintendo music instrument sets to call on: would it involve the instrument set heard for Konami's Gradius III, or would it be the instrument set heard for Konami's Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose! ? As I was checking through my sources in terms of trying to see about matching the original song itself for the most part, it became clearer that the latter would be the option to deliver for such an insanely awesome task like this. And believe me when I say that I had an awesome blast on the backend doing the music arrangement cover process of these five new additions without any regrets; check them all out via the links below and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Side note: we might have a potential "Behind the Process" entry in the works related to this addition in the month to come; nothing is final as of yet because I'm still trying to clear out other things in my planbook's backlog. But this one this is certain, and although I'm not saying this with any conceit: just like the "Rainbow Road" course theme song itself for Mario Kart World, this could be one of the best Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers we've done in hopes to represent how awesome the songs are using Konami's Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose! instrument set itself. Once again, check the links above to hear for yourselves, and as always, let me know via this online contact form if you have any problems with accessing these newest song covers themsevles. See you all later.
