Good afternoon, friends; I'm hoping that this Easter weekend has been treating you awesome people/listeners/supporters of these beloved music operations as a whole well. Although this posting is technically not focused on any news regarding what's going on with yours truly regarding music operations stuff on the backend, there are two angles of this post that I definitely want to make sure you all know about since this is Mario series related... and as you can tell, it's already a big deal for all of us Mario videogame series supporters as a whole.
First of all, as we should be already aware by now, this is the release week for the highly anticipated Super Mario Bros. Movie (from Universal Pictures, Nintendo, and Illumination). In just about a short while from now, I'll be heading to my town's local movie theater to snag this opportunity to see this movie for myself and I'm looking forward to what's about to be shared via possible shoutouts to certain elements of what made Nintendo's Super Mario Bros. videogame series insanely popular in the first place that's still getting the massive following today; I expect nothing less, so I'm keeping fingers crossed that my movie theater visit will definitely be worth it tonight.
Second, this is also to let you know once again that on the "music" front, the score itself for said movie (which is composed by Bryan Tyler) does not qualify for me to find any Super Nintendo music styled covers to do. My focus still remains in finding songs from modern videogame installments for the Mario videogame series in general (including main installments, spinoff installments, and branched installments, of course). With that said, to all us music fanatics in general - I highly recommend that after we've snagged our respective chances to see the Super Mario Bros. Movie itself that we make sure to see about supporting Bryan Tyler and his composing work by getting the related official soundtrack; more information on that can be found on this page from the folks at iam8bit (including how we can see about purchasing said album; as of the date and time of this posting, they are now accepting preorders).
Time for me to end this here because my ride to the town's movie theater can be arriving at any moment. See you awesome people later, and let's make sure to give our all supporting this very important milestone for Nintendo's Super Mario videogame as a whole. Take care for now.Source URL:
